DESCRIPTION:Code Red Climate Crisis: In his recent book\, “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster\,” Bill Gates writes\, “If nothing else changes\, the world will keep producing greenhouse gases\, climate change will keep getting worse\, and the impact on humans will in all likelihood be catastrophic.”\n\nOur speaker\, Dorelle Ackermann\, a retired science teacher\, is passionate about climate change and global warming. She will address climate change that is evident today\, the basic science of global warming\, and the existing technology to “draw down” atmospheric carbon dioxide .\n\nPlease invite spouses\, friends and acquaintances. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, April 24 we will be continuing with a Union Church rite of passage and presenting Bibles to our Third Graders.  During Sunday School we will learn more about our Bibles and everyone (adults and children) are encouraged to bring their own Bibles.  We will also be incorporating our youth group members into the service and celebrating our Wednesday Gather + Grow Youth Group that ran from September thru late March and included games\, service projects\, lessons about church rituals and most importantly\, brought our kids\, grades 2 – 8\, together in fellowship in their church home.  To join the G+G youth group for the 2022/23 school year\, contact Penny Johnson or Grant Glowiak. \n  \nWe will also focus on Bibles during the 9:07 service and encourage all to bring their Bible.
