They have been recognized with awards\, including the Eric Hoffer Award\, the Indie Book Award\, and the International Book Award. \nOur speaker received his BA and MBA from Michigan State University and was honored as an outstanding alumni from the Eli Broad College of Business in 2001. This festive concert will finish up with songs about pianos including “I love a Piano” by Irving Berlin! DESCRIPTION:A staple of Hinsdale summer is celebrating its 20th year. Uniquely Thursday is a weekly festival with food trucks\, live music and camaraderie in Burlington Park near the Memorial Building and train station in downtown Hinsdale. Our church is the perfect location to meet up with each other and enjoy this time together. Park and meet up at church at 5:45 p.m. (north-side parking lot) and we’ll walk down to Uniquely Thursday together. This is a great way for new members and their mentors to meet\, as well as for friends in our congregation of all ages to spend time together. Uniquely Thursday begins at 6:00 p.m. at Burlington Park in Hinsdale. Bring your own picnic blanket or folding chair. If we miss you at the church parking lot\, we’ll see you down there at the park!

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, April 24 we will be continuing with a Union Church rite of passage and presenting Bibles to our Third Graders.  During Sunday School we will learn more about our Bibles and everyone (adults and children) are encouraged to bring their own Bibles.  We will also be incorporating our youth group members into the service and celebrating our Wednesday Gather + Grow Youth Group that ran from September thru late March and included games\, service projects\, lessons about church rituals and most importantly\, brought our kids\, grades 2 – 8\, together in fellowship in their church home.  To join the G+G youth group for the 2022/23 school year\, contact Penny Johnson or Grant Glowiak. \n  \nWe will also focus on Bibles during the 9:07 service and encourage all to bring their Bible.
