The Clarendon Hills Library is one of many libraries participating in Illinois Libraries Present (ILP), a series of virtual programs with well-known authors and others.
On Tuesday, May 13, 7 pm ILP is presenting “Poverty: A Discussion with Matthew Desmond.” He is the author of Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City. He’s also a professor at Princeton and a MacArthur Genius grant winner.
