An avid scholar of liturgical music, Stephen served as the Organist and Assistant Cantor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Schaumburg, IL from 2013-2018. Prior to working at Prince of Peace, Stephen was the Liturgical Ensemble Coordinator at Luther College, directing, composing, and arranging for a small chamber group that supported congregational singing in liturgy and hymnody. He also led the band that played with the Luther College Gospel Choir throughout his college career. Before accepting the position of Liturgical Ensemble, he served as pianist at Washington Prairie Lutheran in Decorah, IA.
