A new worship service with the matriarchs and patriarchs of our Union Church family in mind. On the Third Thursday of every month, please join us in our Sanctuary for our favorite hymns, Bible verses and prayers. While this is a service designed for seniors, everyone is welcome! Union Church provides a healthy meal delivered to each client on the 4th Tuesday of each month. We are looking for volunteers to shop for healthy sides for the meals and to hand out and meals to the clients in the Interim Housing Center in Downers Grove. We need 5 people to bring the meal and serve the meal at A Just Harvest in Rodgers Park. We also need someone to shop for the meal. This can be done anytime during the week before our date to serve. Wear your favorite school colors (high school, elementary, college and even UCECP) to church and join for a tailgate-style social with yard games in the Close and root beer floats from Parish Life after worship. What a fun way to welcome each other back from our summer adventures and kick off the school year together!
