This concert will feature UCH’s very own Stephen Uhl on piano and Brian Ostrega on violin. July 4 at 9:30, Union Church’s West Lawn Join us to view Hinsdale’s annual 4th of July parade as it proudly progresses on Garfield Street! The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Arrive early with your lawn chair (earlier the better) on Union Church’s west lawn — and don’t forget to wear your favorite red, white, and/or blue outfit! Note: As in years past, the Board of Parish Life will provide limited bottles of water and, perhaps, a special treat!

We need 5 people to bring the meal and serve the meal at A Just Harvest in Rodgers Park. We also need someone to shop for the meal. This can be done anytime during the week before our date to serve. This event offers an opportunity for attendees to be educated and gain awareness about how to be an active bystander during violent situations, process the lingering trauma of such an event, and help while protecting yourself emotionally and physically.
