Through our Easter Offering last year, we were able to provide over $10,000 to build a new home for Ms. Julia, where she will be able to raise her family and be safe and healthy. Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra musicians lead by Maestro Stephen Alltop present a French Feast on Sunday, April 23, 2023! Featuring a mix of woodwinds, harp, organ, and strings, the program will include music by Ravel, Fauré, Boëllmann, Grandjany, and Rabaud.
The mission component of our Making a Holy Difference campaign/fund is bearing fruit! The Ministry for Change recently approved a $15,500 grant from the accumulated proceeds of the Global Mission portion of the fund to complete important needed repairs at the Mike Solberg School in Waku Kungo, Angola. The school serves 779 K-8 students, and this grant will improve and sustain their learning environment!

We are looking for volunteers to shop for healthy sides for the meals and to hand out and meals to the clients in the Interim Housing Center in Downers Grove. July 4 at 9:30, Union Church’s West Lawn Join us to view Hinsdale’s annual 4th of July parade as it proudly progresses on Garfield Street! The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Arrive early with your lawn chair (earlier the better) on Union Church’s west lawn — and don’t forget to wear your favorite red, white, and/or blue outfit! Note: As in years past, the Board of Parish Life will provide limited bottles of water and, perhaps, a special treat!
